Supporting culture & faiths

At Personalised Care Services we understand the diversity of our society and the people we support.

Culturally Sensitive Support

At Personalised Care Services, we understand the diversity of our society and the people we support. We have a diverse team of staff trained to support people in a respectful and culturally sensitive way. Your individual needs are important to us and will be identified during our initial assessment to ensure we can support all aspects of your wellbeing.

Supporting Faith and Spiritual Practices

Despite advanced age or disability, many people wish to continue attending places of worship. We support you in observing your faith practices, whether it’s:

  • Muslim Faith: Praying five times per day.
  • Christian Faith: Going to church to pray or attend a service.
  • Buddhist Faith: Meditating or chanting in a quiet room.
  • Non-Practicing Faith: Engaging in other forms of quiet contemplation or spiritual practice.

We understand that religious festivals may require specific observances and that people may need to mark important events, changes, losses, or anniversaries in both religious and non-religious ways.

End-of-Life Religious and Spiritual Support

We recognize that spiritual or religious practice can become more important at the end of life. This may include organizing things in accordance with religious or spiritual beliefs. It’s essential for our staff to be aware of and support your religious or spiritual rituals at the end of your life and even after you have gone.

Commitment to Respectful Support

We are committed to providing culturally appropriate and respectful support, with a primary focus on maintaining and affirming your cultural and religious identity
